On Feb. 1, 2025, the Flyers Hall of Fame brother duo of Joe and Jim Watson brought along a very special guest — the Stanley Cup trophy — to the American Cancer Society’s Hope Lodge in Philadelphia. The Flyers organization, the NHL and the NHL Players Association gave their full cooperation in helping make this special event a reality.
This is a wonderful facility Jimmy, Joe and the Cup were warmly welcomed by the staff, residents and their families. It was an honor to share stories, a meal, and some special moments together. Seeing the joy the Cup brings never gets old!
