On March 24, 2026, the Flyers Alumni Association made a $100,000 contribution to Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Educatiob. On hand among a host of Alumni: Chris Pronger, Joe Watson Hockey, Bon Kelly, Jimmy Watson, Ed Hospodar, Doug Crossman, Steve Coates and more.
The donation is an installment toward the Flyers Alumni’s ongoing $2 million pledge to support Snider Hockey, It’s a tribute to the late Flyers Chairman Ed Snider’s lasting commitment to the Flyers Alumni Association and the community.
How we raised the money
The money the Alumni donated was directly raised through our calendar of public events: Charity Classic Weekend, Friday Night Fights, Fantasy Camp, etc. In fact, all of our signature programs — Every Child Deserves a Bike, 12 Days of Christmas, Alumni wellness, Stanley the service dog and others — are made possible through the support of our events from our sponsors and loyal Flyers fans.
