We are proud to announce the creation of a new annual Flyers team award, in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the creation of the Flyers Alumni Association: The Flyers Alumni Community Leadership Award.
Each season, the Alumni board of directors will select a member of the current Flyers who shows exemplary leadership in community and charity activities. The recipient will become that season’s King Clancy Trophy nominee from the Flyers, receive a commemorative plaque, and have a $5,000 donation made by the Alumni in his name to a charity of his choosing.
We will announce the inaugural winner tomorrow.
