ALUMNI IN THE
Community
Carrying forward the legacy
of compassion, service, and community support.
Throughout the year, the Flyers Alumni give back in meaningful ways—donating both their time and financial support to community events and organizations. Some of that impact happens on the ice, some off it, across the Delaware Valley, and in the communities our Alumni call home.
Volunteer Time
Whether it’s helping to feed the less fortunate at Thanksgiving or supporting community events, Flyers Alumni have a 40-year tradition of volunteerism.
Brad Marsh, Mark Howe & Bob Kelly Toys for Tots
Each year, New Balance of Mt. Laurel hosts a holiday season Toys for Tots collection event. The Flyers Warriors and several generations of Flyers Alumni participate each year.
Outdoor Hockey Clinic
From the White House rink to a free nighttime kids hockey clinic at Spring Mountain Ice Rink, the Flyers Alumni are dedicated to sharing our love for hockey with the next generation of young players.
Learn to Play Program
The Learn to Play Rookie program offers first-time participants (between 5-9 years of age) free head-to-toe equipment, age appropriate instruction and certified coaching.Various Flyers Alumni participate as instructors.

Meeting with Our Fans
There’s nothing better than spending time with the people who’ve cheered us on through every era. Our Alumni love meeting fans, sharing stories, and signing a few keepsakes along the way.
Alumni Serving Holiday Cheer
